Nancy Alfano Biography

Ms. Nancy Alfano has over twenty-five years of senior management experience in corporate and non-profit businesses. Upon graduation from Colorado State University, she began her career in Fashion Merchandising with Saks Fifth Avenue in the New York Flagship store. Over the twelve years she was with Saks, she managed Cosmetics and Fragrances, developed Personal Shopping Services within the Fifth Avenue Club, developed and executed a Management Executive Training Program, and was Marketing Director for New York and San Francisco. She found her niche by targeting customer needs and designing marketing programs to please clients and increase consumer loyalty. Ms. Alfano is known for her skill as a highly innovative entrepreneur within the corporate environment.

After two years volunteering with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate as Special Events Liaison and Fundraising Chair on the Board of Directors, Nancy was appointed Executive Director. During her four years leading the organization, she was responsible for managing the multi-million dollar annual fundraising and granting process, as well as developing and maintaining the engagement of over two thousand volunteers supporting the organization at various levels through educational programs and all types of events.

Residing in New Jersey for the past fifteen years, she has served as Vice President for the Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center, and consulted for private family foundations in the areas of board development, governance and volunteer development. Currently, she serves on the Fellowship Senior Living Foundation Board as Secretary and Development Chair and is a lead choir member and Cantor at her parish, Saint James Roman Catholic Church in Basking Ridge.
